Councilman Weiner 7/30/08 Community Meeting. Focus: Stoltz Concord Pike Large Shopping Center. - News Journal

New Castle County residents are invited to attend a community meeting Wednesday hosted by County Councilman Bob Weiner to review and discuss a plan to build a large commercial shopping center at the intersection of U.S. 202 and Beaver Valley Road.

The meeting will be 6 p.m. in the community center of Brandywine Town Center, off Naamans Road.

Stoltz Real Estate Partners, the developers on the project, will make a presentation of the plan, which is their third for that location. Residents will have a chance to make comments and ask questions.

The plan will be reviewed by the county's Planning Board during its regular meeting Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Gilliam Building, 77 Reads Way, New Castle Corporate Commons, near New Castle.
